So Yesterday- Episode Four
“Hi again,
Bailey.” I said nervously twisting a lock of hair. She stared at me coldly and
didn’t respond. Then she turned to Jon as if I hadn’t said a word.
“I didn’t
know you guys were out to befriend the new, dorky girl. How…cute.” The way she
said “cute” made it sound like she was saying “revolting.”
“Be nice,
B. Megan is not dorky and she’s my
friend.” Jon said putting a reassuring arm around my shoulder. I smiled up at
him.
“Oh, yeah?
I guess I didn’t realize that knowing a bitchy skank like her for 5 minutes
counted as being friends.” Bailey
scowled as she eyed his arm like it was a poisonous snake.
“Excuse me?” I glared at her, pulling out
of Jon’s one-armed hug. “What did you
say?”
Bailey
rolled her eyes and smacked her gum. “Boy, she’s a deaf bitchy skank. You heard me, bitch.”
“Bailey,
what’s wrong with you?” Jonathan said, stepping closer to me as I gaped at her
in shock.
“What’s
wrong with me? It’s more like what’s wrong with her! How could you take her side?” Bailey whimpered, batting her
baby blue eyes at him.
“Bailey,
cut it out. You’ve got some issues you clearly need to take care of.” Samuel
piped up from behind me.
“Shut up
Sam. You’re no part of this.” Bailey snipped as she leaned in closer to me.
“You little bitch, I should have known you were a playgirl slut.”
“Go away
Bailey. Stop it, now.” Jon said in a fierce tone I had never heard him use
before.
Bailey
looked stricken. And at that moment, I knew what the problem here was. Bailey
liked Jonathan. “Jooon.” She whimpered at him.
“Now.”
Jonathan repeated.
“It’s
either I walk or she walks!” Bailey shouted staring daggers at me. “Which one
will it be? It’s up to you, Jon.” I glanced up at him in desperation, my eyes
pleading. Why would he choose me over Bailey? She’s the most popular girl in
the school, and I’m…I’m no one.
“Then it
leaves me no choice. Guys, what do you say? I, for one, pick ______.” Jonathan
said, holding his head high. __ gasped.
I left the two blanks empty because it's up to you- who do you think Jon should pick? :)

So Yesterday- Episode Three
So Yesterday- Episode Three
“Uhm, I’m
sorry I don’t understand. I don’t think you can reserve lots for anybody.” I
said as nicely as possible. Then the unthinkable happened, they threw their
heads back and let out tinkering little bursts of laughter.
“I’m sorry,
my name’s Bailey. We were totally pranking
you. You have a great sense of
fashion, you know that?” The blonde said, cocking her head as she surveyed my
outfit. I looked down at my knee-length, light pink coloured, spaghetti strap
dress which I had paired with a simple heart pendant necklace, black Converse
watch, and of course, my signature grey suede boots.
“Thanks. My
name’s Megan and I’m new, if you couldn’t tell.” I smiled, genuinely this time.
“You must
think that we’re such bitches! My
name’s Laura fyi.” The brunette said, smiling back.
“No, I
didn’t think that. Nice to meet you guys.” I lied.
“Don’t lie!
Anyway, welcome to Vienna High! See you later, Megan.” Bailey said, giving me a
little wave. I waved back as I headed towards the building once again. I had
made my first two friends, Bailey and Laura, granted, they weren’t the kind of
girls I would have liked to hang out with, but, it’s a start.
“Megan!
Hey, Megan! Megs! Ginger!” A voice shouted loudly over the chatter of students
in the hall. I turned around, and there he was-Jonathan. He was wearing a blue
and grey pinstriped sweater with dark blue jeans and had his red backpack
casually slung over one shoulder. His brown hair was slightly messy, but in a
gorgeous way. Wow.
“Jon!” I
cried relieved as I ran towards him. “This school is organized chaos!” I said,
giving him a hug.
“That’s one
way of putting it.” He smiled down at me. “Wow Megs, you look beautiful.” He
said giving me the once-over. He tugged at one of my locks playfully.
“Thanks,
you do too!” I said, feeling heat creep up my neck. I heard a subdued cough
come from a guy with crazy blonde curls, wearing a polo and khakis.
“I take
that as my cue to do introductions. Megan, this is Samuel.” He said pointing at
Polo dude. Samuel gave me a cute lopsided smile and shook his curls away from
his eyes.
“Hey,
Megan. Welcome to Vienna High.” When he spoke, it sounded deep and sultry, like
dark, melting chocolate. I gave a shy wave.
“And Megan,
this is Dexter.” Jon said, gesturing towards a black-haired guy wearing a
t-shirt and jeans. He smiled at me and gave me a wink.
“Yo,
Megan.” He said, smiling.
I smiled
back. “Hey! So, you guys are all friends?” I asked surveying the three of them.
All three were cute, but Jon was the cutest. Samuel wasn’t bad either, but he
seemed too dark and intense for me. Dexter was cute, but a little too
flirtatious.
“No. I
don’t even know who these two are, why I’m introducing them to you, or why
they’re always following me around!” Jon said, smirking playfully at me.
“Jon,
that’s not what I meant!” I cried, swatting him playfully.
“You’re
funny Megan. I like you.” Samuel said nodding at me. I felt a blush creep up my
face again.
“Yea, man.
She’s the best girl in this school so far.” Dexter agreed, grinning. Before I
had a chance to say anything, a voice interrupted me.
“Who’s the
best girl in this school so far?” I turned to see Bailey folding her arms and
smiling at the three boys. Hoo boy.
“Megan is.”
Jon said nodding at me. “She’s Megan, have you guys met?”
Bailey
glared at me, with a stare so icy, it could cut glass. “Yes, I do believe we
have.”

So Yesterday- Episode Two (Meet Vienna High)
Here's Episode Two! :) Comment and rate!
Let’s
review the situation. I’m being forced to leave my much loved school and go to
some lame-ass school that I’ve never even heard of before but it turns out one of
my closest guy friends goes there and is willing to show me around. Badness
scale? Maybe a 3/5. I’m much happier now that I’ve heard Jon is going to be
there so at least I won’t be ALL ALONE. And this way, I’ll get to get closer to
Jon, which is a good thing. I groaned and rolled around in my bed. Flicking the
light switch off, I snuggled into my pillows and hugged my blanket. Well, whatever it is, you better be ready
for it Megan Crawford, cause orientation day is in two days. And with that
thought, I drifted into a deep sleep.
Good mooorning America! This is Afro and Nico
on the Blitx Morning Show! You’re listening to 98.9, Blitx FM babe! Say, Nico
have you heard about Zayn Malik’s new girl? Man she is smoking! I’m talking
body curves and beautiful luscious hair-reaching over, I switched the radio off.
Usually I would be laughing along to my favourite radio station’s Morning Show,
but today my stomach was in knots and I couldn’t bring myself to hear the
latest celeb updates or lame jokes. Orientation day was nothing I would have
gotten nervous about, but this was my new
school’s orientation. Glancing in the rearview mirror, I instinctively reached
up and flicked my hair nervously. Stop!
Megan Crawford, you are the most
popular girl in your grade and you will not freak out over this. Calm down, deep breath, hair and face check.
Hair? Long and luscious. Face? Evenly tanned and smooth. You’ve got this. Glancing
out the car window, I couldn’t help but stare at the large, tall, red and white
(school colours) building that loomed ahead. It had turrets like a castle and
was made of stone bricks. Outside, handfuls of students stood around, chatting
with their friends, skateboarding, jostling each other, it looked just like the social scene in my old
school. Taking a deep breath, I turned the car into an empty lot and switched
off the ignition. Telling myself to calm down, I swung the car door open and
placed one grey suede booted shoe on the pavement. Grabbing my red sling bag, I
stepped out of the car and shut the door. As I locked the car, I surveyed the
area. Two girls, one blonde and one brunette were leaning against the brick
divider, watching me. Squirming uncomfortably, feeling like a bacterium under a
microscope, I shifted my weight and walked in the direction of the school
building.
“Hey, new
girl!” A voice shouted. I winced and willed myself to keep walking. “Yo, over
here! We’re talking to you!” This time I couldn’t ignore
it. I spun on my heel and faced the two girls.
“I’m sorry,
I didn’t hear you. What was it you wanted to say?” I said as sweetly as
possible, making sure to have a sweet, demure smile playing on my lips.
“That
parking lot is reserved.” Said the brunette, smirking at me.
“It is?” I
asked. I knew these type of girls, they picked on the new kids and were always
bitchy to everyone. Bitchy, but they were popular queens. The ones with the best
fashion, high-heel boots, short skirts and tons of guy admirers foaming at the
mouth.
“Yes, it
is.” Said the blonde, pronouncing her words slowly and carefully, as though I
were a little kid who didn’t understand. “So do you mind moving?” She smirked.
Don't miss the next episode! A twist of events, an introduction and lots of drama. Follow Meg's adventure with a new school, 3 single hot guys, 2 angry, popular, pissed off girls, and a lot of drama.

So yesterday
Hey guys! So I wrote this story called "So Yesterday" and I'm gonna
upload it here in episodes and I hope you like it. Comment and rate,
whatever. :)
Episode One.
So
yesterday.
No, no, no!
This so cannot be happening. I am not leaving school before my TTY (This
Time Year) even begins. I should probably explain. You see, my name’s Megan
Crawford and this year was meant to be my This Time Year. Basically, that means
that it’s a year where I do everything I had always dismissed as “maybe next
time” or, “it’s too scary” etc. You get the point. This was going to be my big
year. I already had everything set-new wardrobe, new makeup, captain of the
school cheerleading team, it seemed like I had planned for every possible
obstacle. Every possible obstacle that is, except for my parents deciding to
move me.
“No, dad I’m not moving!” I
yelled as I angrily slammed a fist onto the kitchen table. “This is crazy! What
about my friends? What about the life that I’ve built for myself at school?
It’s all going to dissolve into a big puddle of nothing!”
“Calm down, Ginger. I’m sure you’ll make new
friends in Vienna High.”
“No dad, you don’t understand.”
“Ginger, I understand perfectly fine.”
“No you don’t! You never do! You never get me
at all!”
“Honey I
get you, I do, but this is for everyone’s best interest!”
“Everyone’s? Or just yours, dad?”
“Now Ginge, that isn’t fair. I have been
waiting for this job for years!”
“I know dad, but do you seriously have to
uproot all of us just for your job?”
“I have no choice, Ginger!”
“Stop calling me that!”
“Look, Megan…we have no choice. We’re in bad
financial shape. The down payment for this
job is enough to put you through university and college!”
“Fine, whatever. You guys always just ruin my life!”
With that,
I turned on my heel and fled the room. I mean, I’m pretty sure that dad’s
right. His new job as a football coach pays a whopping $1 mil every game he
wins and $400k every game he doesn’t. But this isn’t fair! I had everything planned out to the very last detail! Ugh! I
slammed my room door and here I am, scribbling furiously into my black leather
journal. I hate fighting with my parents but this is absurd! I gathered my
sling bag, grabbed my wallet and scribbled a note for dad, “Going to get DVDs,
be back later.” Then I slammed the front door shut behind me, plugged in my
earphones and began the jog to the store. It’s not far- maybe 5 minutes from my
house but I reached there in a record breaking 3 minutes. Anger must have
fueled my running. As I stepped into the store, I felt a strong, muscular arm
on my shoulder. My self-defense kicked in and I twisted the guy’s hand and hit
him on the head. I smiled as I heard the
satisfying sound of bone hitting skull. Ready to confront the guy, I grabbed
his hair and lifted his head.
“What the crap, Megan? What the
heck was that?” Said a familiar voice as the guy rubbed his head. Oh freaking
crap-it was Jonathan, my swimming partner and friend for 2 years now.
“Jonathan! Oh my gosh- I am so sorry!” I cried as I grabbed his
hand. “Does it hurt?”
“Yea it totally does, but I’ll live.” He said
smiling up at me. Phew
“I’m sorry, I’m totally out of it.” I
explained, smiling back.
“No kidding. Geez, what were you
even thinking about, anyway?”
“Nothing.” I sighed.
“Don’t gimme that, Megs. I know
you too well. What’s up?”
“Ugh it’s just that my parents
are totally making me move school.”
“Really? Where to?”
“Vienna High.”
“No way!” He said, raising his
eyebrows.
“What?” I asked.
“I go there.” He said.
“Seriously?” I cried smiling at
him. Suddenly, this whole idea of moving to Vienna High didn’t seem so bad
after all.
“Yea! I can totally show you the
ropes if you want!”
“Definitely!”
“When do you start?” He asked.
“Next Monday.” I said.
“Excellent.” He grinned, rubbing
his hands together.
“So I guess I’ll see you Monday
then?” I said shyly smiling at him.
“Of course! See ya around fellow
Vienen!” He grinned and ruffled my hair as he walked out of the store.

I miss you.
Dear Darlin, please excuse my writing,
I can't stop my hands from shaking,
Cause I'm cold, and alone, tonight.
I miss you,
And nothing hurts like no you,
And no one understands what we went through,
It was short,
It was sweet,
We tried.
And if my words break through the wall,
To meet you at your door,
All I can say is boy I mean them all.

To continue yet again...
Wow, I just realized that my last review is insanely long. hahaha. Okay,
back to business. The series that I'm going to review is...The Carrie Diaries.
Not sure if any of you have ever seen that series but it's about this girl named
Carrie Bradshaw, her best friends Jill "Mouse" Chen, Maggie Landers and Walt
Reynolds, her hot new-it's really complicated-boyfriend Sebastian Kydd,
and Donna LaDonna the resident mean girl whose trying desperately to hit up
Sebastian. Carrie is portrayed as this innocent girl, whose looking to find herself in the
big city of Manhattan after getting an internship at a law firm from her dad's friend. Her
mum had just passed away and everyone at school excluding her best friends were
avoiding her...everyone that is except Sebastian. Sebastian's this hot, sexy, blond
guy with a killer smile and thoughtful eyes whom Carrie had met last summer at the public
pool where they had kissed, but she never saw him again after his parents had a private
pool installed in their house. The story proceeds to them getting close again, and eventually
becoming a couple but Carrie is worried that while she's grounded, and at her internship,
that Sebastian is going to fall for Donna, whose trying really hard to get that to happen.
Meanwhile, he stays faithful to her as she explores Manhattan with her new-found friend
and confidante, Larissa, the editor in chief of Interview Magazine. Carrie scores her way
into several hot downtown parties with Larissa and a bunch of creative weirdos and tries
to work her way through it with Sebastian. Personally, I ship Cabastian and I wish they
wouldn't break up so often, but they do, so what can you do about that. The first time they
broke up is when Carrie snooped through her father's secret files to find out why he
forbids her to date him, and finds out that he had sexual intimacy with his previous school's
history teacher. Upon this revelation, Carrie confronts Sebastian about it and he explodes
ending the confrontation in a breakup, and a very brokenhearted Carrie. Meanwhile, Walt
breaks up with Maggie when all she wants to do his push him to going all the way with her.
We also see that Maggie is actually cheating on Walt. While Walt follows Carrie into Manhattan
for a downtown Halloween party, Maggie convinces Mouse to follow her to Sebastian's
Halloween party where Mouse and Sebastian end up tied up in an intense game of Pacman.
Meanwhile at the Halloween party Carrie has to take care of a drunk and drug-overdosed Larissa,
oblivious to the fact that drunk Walt was being hit on...by a sexy guy. The guy-Bennet Wilcox-
kisses Walt and Walt runs away, terrified that he might be gay. When he and Carrie head home,
he makes up with Maggie, partly, I think to convince himself that he isn't gay. At Sebastian's party,
Mouse is trashed with too much pot and beer and Sebastian takes her to Carrie's house. The two
talk for a short while and the episode ends. Shortly after, Carrie is shown taking her driver's test
and she nearly crashed the car, and needless to say, bombed the test, when she spotted Sebastian
making out with Donna in her rear view mirror. Sebastian apologizes and Donna smirks at Carrie.
Carrie accepts the invitation to a party from a guy whom she eventually dates. Thanksgiving night,
she attempts to make the perfect dinner with Mouse but ends up almost burning the house down,
and destroying the oven. In Sebastian's house, his mother cancelled on him again and Donna calls
him over but instead of going to Donna's, Sebastian ends up on Carrie's doorstep. They talk and
Sebastian wants to get back with Carrie but she said that you couldn't change the past. She invites him
in and he, Mouse, Maggie, Dorrit, and her dad end up at the same table, laughing and joking. End where
I watched until. Needless to say, I'm devastated and waiting for the second season to premier on 25th October 2013. I really love Sebastian and Carrie together and final episode clips show them getting back together (yay!), breaking up (wth) and him kissing Maggie (oh heck no!) The youtube clips are freaking
UNAVAILABLE in my country so I can't watch the rest of season one. Someone help me. I watched
till Endgame. Someone watch them all and tell me what happens, PLEASE!!!

The Future of Us is an amazing book that features a girl named Emma,
her crew; Josh, her ex best friend, Kellan, her current best friend,
Tyson, Kellan's ex boyfriend/her best friend, and a crazy -8 years into the future-
invention called "Facebook". Josh and Em have been best friends since
they were kids, best friends and neighbours, they were inseparable till last
November, where everything changed. Josh, reading the moment wrong,
leaned in to kiss Emma and she said the one thing that might have permanently
damaged their friendship; "I can't...you're...you're Josh." And with that,
things went downhill and he never stepped foot into her house or bedroom
ever again...at least until he gets a new AOL disc in his mail and his mum forces
him to take it to Emma to see if she wants to install it into her computer. She does.
But when she does, she sees something strange on her computer screen. Her
name. Not only that, but her relationship status! Photos of her, little updates that
talk about her kids(!) and her husband (!!). Convinced that this is an elaborate
prank pulled by Josh, she calls him over and begs him to enter her room. Reluctantly,
he does. He doesn't have a clue about this strange webpage called "Facebook" and is
also convinced that this is just a prank, a near impossible, elaborate prank, sure, but
a prank nonetheless. It's not until Emma discovers photos of her, Josh, Kellan and
Tyson on the beach that she realizes it's not a prank. This webpage is her future. These
photos are for real. She knows that because she hadn't developed the beach pictures
yet. Upon hearing that the webpage is for real, the two head back to sleep and agree
to discuss more about it in the morning. Josh follows Emma to school everyday and
goes to her room everyday after school. They begin to get closer again and try to unravel
the mystery of their future. Emma, unhappy with her husband begin to make little "ripples"
that would affect her future. After a while, they decide to look up Josh Templeton, and
sure enough, there's a page all about him, his "profile picture" grinning up at them. His
relationship status? Well that's where things get a little complicated. It says there that
he's married to Sydney Templeton. Let's just clear a few things up. Sydney is the hottest,
most popular girl in the school who hasn't given Josh the time of day, or even a brief smile,
or glance ever before and it says here that he's married to her? With kids? While Josh
pursues his own line of happiness with Sydney, Future Emma is taking a downfall. With her
husband rarely around and a kid to feed and take care of, Future her is once again, unhappy.
Determined to change that, she continues making ripples until she lands up with yet another
husband. Meanwhile, Josh impresses Sydney by taking a stand for her in class and she asks
him out. She begins to really like him and asks him to go to the bonfire with her. At this point,
things are beginning to get more than a little complicated between Josh and Emma, and
readers can easily figure out that they are meant to be with each other. It frustrated me a lot
as I at first had thought they they were meant to be "just friends" but as the story traveled on,
it became apparent to me that they were perfect for each other, if only they could see that.
And I thought they did! When Emma kissed Josh, I thought-this is it! They're going to see the
light! Instead, Josh dismisses it as a way to get her another husband and accuses her of "playing"
with him. Angry, frustrated, and hurt, Emma retreats to her bed and begins to think about Josh,
their time together, and how stupid she was to reject him. Kellan realizes her dilemma and tries
to get Josh to see that Emma really loves him. Meanwhile, a guy named Cody who Emma has
liked for a very long time, asks her to take a ride with him. Needless to say, it ended in a makeout
session and when he tried to take it further, Emma stops him, and storms out of his aunt's house.
Back in her house, Josh, regretting the whole "playing with his emotions" line, runs down when
he hears Emma's car pull in, but it isn't Emma, it's Kellan, driving her car home while she's away with
Cody. Kellan blames Josh for Emma being with Cody and Josh couldn't bear thinking of Emma in
Cody's car. At the bonfire, Kellan drags an unwilling Emma there and Josh and Sydney are hanging
out together. Emma's heart is breaking and she attempts to leave early. When she does, Josh and
Sydney are snuggled in a blanket under the night sky together, but while this is happening, Josh
realizes that although it's stupid and irrational, he doesn't like Sydney, in fact his heart belongs to the
very girl he called a tease-Emma. When he leaves and retires back home, Kellan and Tyson wake
him up and "kidnap"him and Emma, telling them it was apparent that neither of them were happy.
Taking them to GoodTimez Pizza store-their childhood hangout-, they hang out in the ball pit and while
Kellan and Tyson grab some things to eat from the kitchen, Josh and Emma hold hands and then kiss
in the pit. Facebook is gone as Future Emma decided to cancel her account, and the couple believes
its gone for the better. Hugging in the pit, they both whisper that they hope this changes everything. I was
extremely happy when the couple came to senses about their love for each other and I think this is
an amazing book.

Midbreak IOTM
Just another Midbreak.
Hello again! In this Midbreak I'm going to review 2 books I recently read,
and 1 TV series I recently watched. The two books are Spy Society and
The Future of Us, I know, I know, not exactly heartwarming classics like
Pride & Prejudice, or literary amazement like The Fault in our Stars, but
lets talk about books the average bored teen would read. Don't get me wrong,
I love John Green and have Jane Austen's books filling my bookcase, but
I'd like to talk about books that DON'T bring you to tears-John Green- or
AREN'T a little more difficult to comprehend-Jane Austen-.
SPY SOCIETY IS an excellent Also Known As novel, featuring a girl named
Margaret "Maggie" Silver, her two spy parents who work for a top secret corporation
called the Collective, her-more often drunk than sober-best friend Scarlet "Roux", her
"assignment"-bad boy- Jesse Oliver, and her family's close-world class forger-friend, Angelo.
Maggie is assigned to get close to Jesse Oliver and stop his dad from printing a
secret article that would reveal the Collective and their agents, including Maggie and her
parents, and while Collective's future relies on Maggie and her succession with the mission,
she's finding it hard to keep herself from liking Jesse, especially when he asks out and makes
out with her. On their date-which Maggie was trying and failing to convince herself that it was
for the sake of more information-Maggie brings Jesse to Gramercy Park and breaks in with her
paperclip (did I mention she's a whiz with safes and locks?) Upon hearing that, her parents go haywire
and soon after, Maggie is told of a dark secret in her past, including a spy called Oscar Young, who
tried to kidnap her when she was four years old, in hopes of keeping her lock picking, safe opening, skills
to himself. Apparently, when Collective agent Colton Hooper was told of this, he blamed himself for
bringing Oscar into the agency and assigned their family's safety to himself. Oscar's body washed up on
the beach a few days after. And while Angelo tries to reassure her that everything is fine, Maggie begins
to suspect something darker hidden within, and with Angelo sent away on a mission, Maggie has no
one to talk to and turns to Roux for advice. She confronts Roux and Jesse with the truth, and although
things are a little difficult at first, they both eventually come around and try to help her make sense of
what's going on. Eventually, the unexpected trio figure out that Colton is behind all of this - the mishaps in
Luxembourg, missing blueprints, empty safes, her attempted kidnapping, Oscar's death and Angelo's sudden mission. Maggie sends Angelo an emergency coded message telling him to get out of the mission, and the three figure out that Colton must have hired Oscar to kidnap Maggie, and when he failed, he killed him.
Shortly after, Maggie puts two and two together and realizes that Colton is behind the article about to be printed, and that he's staying in Oscars old apartment, 36 Gramercy Park, which explains her parent's freak out over her bringing Jesse to Gramercy Park the night of their date. The trio sneak into Colton's apartment,
Maggie picks his safe, grabs the dossiers with info on all of Collective's spies, and the three run right into
Colton's arms. Colton grabs Roux and she screams and breaks his nose. The three run through the streets, while Maggie makes an emergency phone call to Angelo, and he picks them up in his helicopter. A few
days later, Colton was shot and Maggie gets to stay in New York with her best friend and boyfriend.

Midebreak IOTM
Lets take a little break from P & L which is officially Summer Blogger's
first IOTM (Issue Of The Month) and review the meaning of IOTM.
IOTM STANDS FOR Issue Of The Month, as seen above. Every month
there will be a new Issue I will discuss or talk about. You may enter suggestions
in the comment box, or I will be choosing my own Issues. That month's posting
will revolve mostly around that month's IOTM, but other posts will be present as
well-they will be titled 'Midbreak IOTM', as this one is. That's all for this post, just
a little update on IOTM. Have an awesome week, everybody.

Paris and London.
Hello little birds.
How was your week? Sorry to not have written in forever,
but i was away on a trip to Paris and London, as the title
suggests. It was amazing, and I'm here to give you the dirty
secrets (if any) about P & L and their attractions.Ready? Yes?
Excellent. Ready? No? I don't care.
So, this post is about Paris and it has so many attractions,
I shall just start with the most obvious-the Eiffel Tower. It's
gorgeous in the daytime but even more so in the night. Honestly,
you should go up to the first floor via steps in the evening and have
dinner in the restaurants nearby until the night light show. Just stand
on the steps and enjoy the lights, romance, and street performing music
which is actually kind of fantastic. You can just stand there and soak
in the night and the bright twinkling lights of the tower like a gigantic
Christmas tree shining a little too early. The fountains in the foreground
complete the excellent romantic picture. Another tip? You will most
probably be approached by a group of women asking "you speak English?"
The best thing is to ignore and walk away, but you could also just shake your
head and walk away. Do not entertain them at all. Beware of pick-pockets,
sling your bags across your shoulders and have them in the front of you at
all times.
Next up-Palace of Versailles. SPOILER ALERT: the line to enter is about 1.30
hours at least, even if you have pre-booked tickets/have tickets with you, you will
be forced to join the same line which folds about 5 times. All I can say is, be prepared
to get really tan as it's really hot there. Once inside, be prepared for more hordes as
the number of people is not controlled, therefore thousands of people cram into the
tiny rooms and it feels extremely claustrophobic. Warning-those with no resistance to
crowds in small spaces should really stay away. Besides having to shove people away
and elbow others in the face to pass through or take photos, the palace itself is opulently
gorgeous and eye opening. The gardens are fantastic, beautiful, opulent, hot and really
really large. Lets just say, the gardens are amazeballs and you could spend 4 hours in there
wandering along the shrubs and mazes. There's so much to see, and if you have senior
citizens/toddlers/those incapable of walking far distances, and you intent on seeing everything,
prepare your driving licence and run to the buggy line quickly. It's 30 euros per hour. Also,
if you have kids below 18, you will need to buy them an extra ticket for access to the gardens.
Adults however, can get in using the ticket they bought for the palace.

Hello, Lonely Planet.
Hi again.
It's always been a dream of mine to write a guidebook.
Can you imagine? Travelling to out of country locations
like the Caribbean or Tokyo, with a pen and notepad in
hand, getting paid to travel the country, experience
their attractions first hand, eat everything from roadside
store food to triple Michelin-star gastronomic experiences,
meet their people and learn their culture, then to arrive back
home after about a few months worth of research, and write
about it in what would turn out to be a 300+ paged, glossy
covered, vibrant picture filled, bestselling, award-winning
guidebook. Whoa-that's a seriously long sentence. Anyway,
I'm sure you catch my drift by now-writing a guidebook for
money is a dream of mine, and my fave guidebook company
is definitely Lonely Planet (hence the title of this post.)
That's it for this post, which officially consists of a mere 6
sentences, bye, now!

About the "Summer Blogger"
Hi everyone.
This is so not my first attempt at blogging. I have had
a total of 2 blogs now, both which failed for the same
reasons; I can't remember my domain address. Stupid,
right? My name is Summer Blogger and yes, I am aware
that that is not a real name. Real names are unnecessary here,
so lets skip to the point. I am your basic human who is interested
in writing, photography, music and sports. I write- a lot. Stories,
blogs, random paragraphs, diaries, anything. I also photograph
a lot mostly with my hand phone, a Samsung. Music and sports
are my side things, I adore music, especially playing guitar and
singing. I also write songs but haven't performed any, they are
more like my personal musical diary. I have a band with my
friends, we're a small -currently- unknown band, whose name
i shall not reveal for anonymity sake. We've recorded one song
so far and plan do to one more this summer. Now sports, I like
to run and swim. And I'm not bad at them either. Not fantastic,
not excellent. just not bad. Okay-that's me, the Summer Blogger.
I started this blog because like most of you, I am BORED in the
summer, hence the name "Summer Blogger", I blog in the summer
cause I have insufficient time otherwise. That's it from me now.
Woo-hoo!
