Let’s
review the situation. I’m being forced to leave my much loved school and go to
some lame-ass school that I’ve never even heard of before but it turns out one of
my closest guy friends goes there and is willing to show me around. Badness
scale? Maybe a 3/5. I’m much happier now that I’ve heard Jon is going to be
there so at least I won’t be ALL ALONE. And this way, I’ll get to get closer to
Jon, which is a good thing. I groaned and rolled around in my bed. Flicking the
light switch off, I snuggled into my pillows and hugged my blanket. Well, whatever it is, you better be ready
for it Megan Crawford, cause orientation day is in two days. And with that
thought, I drifted into a deep sleep.
Good mooorning America! This is Afro and Nico
on the Blitx Morning Show! You’re listening to 98.9, Blitx FM babe! Say, Nico
have you heard about Zayn Malik’s new girl? Man she is smoking! I’m talking
body curves and beautiful luscious hair-reaching over, I switched the radio off.
Usually I would be laughing along to my favourite radio station’s Morning Show,
but today my stomach was in knots and I couldn’t bring myself to hear the
latest celeb updates or lame jokes. Orientation day was nothing I would have
gotten nervous about, but this was my new
school’s orientation. Glancing in the rearview mirror, I instinctively reached
up and flicked my hair nervously. Stop!
Megan Crawford, you are the most
popular girl in your grade and you will not freak out over this. Calm down, deep breath, hair and face check.
Hair? Long and luscious. Face? Evenly tanned and smooth. You’ve got this. Glancing
out the car window, I couldn’t help but stare at the large, tall, red and white
(school colours) building that loomed ahead. It had turrets like a castle and
was made of stone bricks. Outside, handfuls of students stood around, chatting
with their friends, skateboarding, jostling each other, it looked just like the social scene in my old
school. Taking a deep breath, I turned the car into an empty lot and switched
off the ignition. Telling myself to calm down, I swung the car door open and
placed one grey suede booted shoe on the pavement. Grabbing my red sling bag, I
stepped out of the car and shut the door. As I locked the car, I surveyed the
area. Two girls, one blonde and one brunette were leaning against the brick
divider, watching me. Squirming uncomfortably, feeling like a bacterium under a
microscope, I shifted my weight and walked in the direction of the school
building.
“Hey, new
girl!” A voice shouted. I winced and willed myself to keep walking. “Yo, over
here! We’re talking to you!” This time I couldn’t ignore
it. I spun on my heel and faced the two girls.
“I’m sorry,
I didn’t hear you. What was it you wanted to say?” I said as sweetly as
possible, making sure to have a sweet, demure smile playing on my lips.
“That
parking lot is reserved.” Said the brunette, smirking at me.
“It is?” I
asked. I knew these type of girls, they picked on the new kids and were always
bitchy to everyone. Bitchy, but they were popular queens. The ones with the best
fashion, high-heel boots, short skirts and tons of guy admirers foaming at the
mouth.
“Yes, it
is.” Said the blonde, pronouncing her words slowly and carefully, as though I
were a little kid who didn’t understand. “So do you mind moving?” She smirked.
Don't miss the next episode! A twist of events, an introduction and lots of drama. Follow Meg's adventure with a new school, 3 single hot guys, 2 angry, popular, pissed off girls, and a lot of drama.
